Is your lawn invaded by hundreds of these weeds? These weeds are not actually weeds, but tiny trees! The good news is there is not much you have to do to get rid of them. The ones in the lawn will die once they have been mowed down several times, and although the ones in mulch or wood chips will grow bigger before dying, most of them will die off on their own later this year. To speed the process up you could use RoundUP on the ones in mulch(as long as you don’t spray any shrubs or flowers in the process, and do not use RoundUP on any in the lawn, it will kill the grass!) Since they are technically trees and not weeds, a normal weed killer used for lawns will hurt them a little but not kill them.
